The City of Parrottsville and Parrottsville Ruritan Club will host the annual Christmas celebration and Parade on December 5, 2015. The festivities begin Friday with a tree lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. followed by a colonial-style dinner for only $10. On Saturday, Christmas In The Park will begin at noon, a live radio remote with Cowboy Kevin will be held from noon until 3 p.m., the Parrottsville Christmas Parade will begin at 3 p.m., followed by a visit from Santa Clause in Parrott-Larue-Myers Park, and a chili cook-off at 4:30 p.m. Purchase a bowl of chili, a drink, and dessert for only $5. Come and join the festivities and/or enter a float!

The annual Parrottsville Christmas Parade will begin at 3 p.m. from the staging area at Parrottsville Elementary School and continue on Highway 321 through the streets of Parrottsville. The parade is organized by the Parrottsville Ruritan Club and its members.

Following the Parrottsville Christmas Parade, stick around for a hot bowl of chili at 4:30 p.m. The cost is only $5 for chili, drink, and dessert. To enter the chili cook-off, bring your chili to Parrott-Larue-Myers Park between 2:30 and 4:15 p.m. on Saturday.
